The PADI Tec Basics course bridges the leap from recreational to technical diving, providing divers with an opportunity to gain exposure to technical diving, use technical diving equipment, and to learn and practice entry level tec diving skills. It introduces recreational divers to tec diving without having to make the larger commitment (in terms of equipment, time and cost) necessary for the core PADI Tec courses.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, meaning more time in the water, especially on repetitive dive days.

Tec 40 is the first program in the PADI tecrec program, and your first step into technical diving. It's the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec Diver course, and bridges the gap between recreational, no stop diving and technical deep decompression diving. You'll begin to gain the skills, knowledge and experience you need to make decompression dives, and to continue your tech diver training.
At the end of the course you will be qualified to make limited decompression dives to 40m.
