The PADI Open Water Diver is the beginning of your diving adventure. It's also the most popular learn to dive certification, and one of the most recognised in the world.

The Open Water course with Pure Dive in Brisbane introduces you to the aquatic world in safe, gradual manner, allowing you plenty of time to learn, and then practice the skills that you'll go on to use again in the course, and many skills which will become second nature as you use them throughout your future scuba diving life.

Our three day course not only allows more time to practice those skills, and enjoy the experience, but includes a day trip to either Cook Island or Flinders Reef for the last two dives of your course.

When you've finished the course, you'll not only have your Open Water license, but you'll be free to explore a whole new world like no other.

Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers, and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care, and practice applying skills ,in a nonstressful learning environment.

All courses are supported by self-study manuals, videos and quick reference cards to enhance learning, and allow you start learning right away.

Interested in technical diving, but don't yet meet the prerequisites for Tec 40, or perhaps you want to try tec today without committing to a full course?

The PADI Tec Basics course bridges the leap from recreational to technical diving, providing divers with an opportunity to gain exposure to technical diving, use technical diving equipment, and to learn and practice entry level tec diving skills. It introduces recreational divers to tec diving without having to make the larger commitment (in terms of equipment, time and cost) necessary for the core PADI Tec courses.

Tec 40 is the first program in the PADI tecrec program, and your first step into technical diving. It's the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec Diver course, and bridges the gap between recreational, no stop diving and technical deep decompression diving. You'll begin to gain the skills, knowledge and experience you need to make decompression dives, and to continue your tech diver training.
At the end of the course you will be qualified to make limited decompression dives to 40m.
